Hello summer
A few weeks ago, we released baseball and most recently, basketball and volleyball. But summer also rhymes with soccer and football. So here they are… You are now able to create soccer and football leagues.

To ensure that these sports will be available this summer, the players statistics are not recorded. You can add players but without statistics. Players statistics will be added later…

Baseball is now available
As you know, we are working on baseball leagues since a while. So, today is the big day. We release baseball leagues and some minor updates.
Baseball
We included all the necessary statistics. If you need more, feel free to contact us.
Batting statistics
At bat, Runs scored, Hits, Total base, Doubles, Triples, Homeruns, Run batted in, Base on ball, Strikeouts, Stolen bases and Batting average.
Pitching statistics
Innings pitched, Hits allowed, Homeruns allowed, Base on ball allowed, Strikeouts, Wins, Losses, Ties, Earn runs and Earn run average.
Standing
Wins, Losses, Ties, Games back, Pourcentage and Sportsmanship.

What’s next?
First of all, thank you to everyone who took a few minutes to answer our brief survey. Your answers will help us focus on what you need.
In the coming months, we will focus on a better integration of your profiles with Facebook. We will also work on a better text editor and a videos section.

As you know, we are working on baseball leagues. We are working hard to release it as soon as possible… in about 3 to 4 weeks.
Batting statistics
At bat, Runs scored, Hits, Total base, Doubles, Triples, Homeruns, Run batted in, Base on ball, Strikeouts, Stolen bases and Batting average.

Hockey playoff & Baseball news
Hockey playoff
Playoff are probably coming soon in your league. Tomorrow, we’ve added “Playoff” filter in section Schedule. So, now, you are able to enter your playoff schedule.
Like pre-season games, playoff games will not affect teams and players statistics. But, next season, pre-season and playoff games statistics will be displayed in teams and players profiles; a row per type of games.
Baseball
We are working really hard to launch baseball leagues soon. We have about 50% completed.
We are currently working on game’s summary. Summaries will be split into 3 blocks: scoreboard, batting and pitching. Scoreboard consist of points per inning for both teams, batting table list players statistics seperated per team and pitching shows pitchers statistics.
Leaderboard in Players section will display top players for batting average, homeruns and hits. It will also shows top pitchers for wins, average and strikeouts.
11 batting statistics will be compiled: total of games played, at bats, runs, hits, total bases, doubles, triples, homeruns, base on balls, strikeouts and batting average. Pitching statistics are not decided as well.
Players penalties tab
This weekend, we’ll add a new tab called “Penalties” in the player profile. It will contain a complete list of all the player’s penalties. This new feature will allow you to better keep track of the player.
We‘re also working on a new feature that allows you to add new penalties to the 30 already existing. So you’ll enjoy an endless choice of type of penalty.
Ligues.ca is currently all about hockey but not for too long. So about a week ago, we started working on the baseball leagues. More about this coming soon…
